Dr. Waseem Dow is an established academic and legal professional with over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. As an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Al-Zaytuna University, he has played an integral role in shaping the next generation of Libyan legal professionals.
Holding a Ph.D. in Private Law from Management & Science University (Malaysia), a Master’s Degree in Private Law from the Arab League University (Egypt), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Al-Mergeb University (Libya), Dr. Waseem brings a strong academic foundation and global perspective to his work.
Throughout his career, he has served in numerous leadership and committee roles, including Head of the Department of Private Law, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and Member of the Institutional Accreditation Committee. His dedication to academic excellence has contributed to the development and modernization of legal education at Al-Zaytuna University.
Dr. Waseem’s research focuses on civil and private law, exploring topics such as corporate governance, compensation for damage, and the legal validity of electronic documentation under Libyan law.
Beyond academia, he is known for his analytical depth, commitment to professional integrity, and ability to mentor young legal minds.
